Hello,
I have a ASUS X50RL laptop. When I bought it, I didn't know if it had Bluetooth or not. There is indeed a light with the Bluetooth symbol, but I could never manage to turn it on.
Bluetooth does not appear in the device manager, and I don't have any Bluetooth program, nor even a key on the keyboard marked with the Bluetooth symbol. So I thought that if there is a BLUETOOTH LIGHT, it was just a coincidence and that the case of my laptop must be used for other models that have Bluetooth...
However, when formatting the computer with the RESTORATION CD, I noticed that a Bluetooth driver was installed and that the famous light briefly turned on before the computer restarted...
So I think this computer has Bluetooth, but I don't know how to be sure or how to turn it on.
I checked the ASUS website and forums, but I couldn't find answers to my questions, and the "all drivers" site doesn't detect any Bluetooth driver on my PC.
Anyway, if anyone knows how I could access Bluetooth or how I can find evidence of its presence, for example via the registry, I thank you in advance.Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.13

Ok,
well in fact those for whom Bluetooth is really available on their Asus say that they just have to press the "Fn" key in the bottom left, then click once on the Wi-Fi symbol (represented by an antenna and usually found on the F2 key) to activate the Wi-Fi and then click a second time right after to turn on the Bluetooth indicator.
Otherwise, have you tried everything I have already suggested? Go check in the device manager, do an automatic driver detection on the Drivers website?
