Hello,
I just bought a Philips Fidelio P9X Bluetooth speaker.
I also have a Vaio laptop equipped with Bluetooth.
However, when I connect my speaker to my PC, it detects it, but when I try to listen to music on my speaker, it doesn't work.
In the Bluetooth settings, when I want to use the speaker as an audio receiver, Windows shows me: Bluetooth service error, incorrect settings.
And I can't do anything.
Why?
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 36.0.1985.125

Hello, the issue is still not resolved at my place after almost 2 years...
As previously mentioned, my laptop running Windows 7 recognizes the Fidelio but cannot set it up as an audio receiver...
I have updated the Bluetooth drivers on the PC, they were already up to date, I even uninstalled and reinstalled those drivers, nothing works.
The A2DP protocol is, according to what I read on the internet, sometimes absent from Windows 7 Bluetooth drivers, but on one hand:
- we don't know how to remedy that, and on the other hand
- Philips never informed us that the Fidelio P9X might not work with a PC running Windows 7 (otherwise I wouldn't have bought it!).
I have therefore bought a wireless speaker that I am forced to use with a cable... Great advertising for Philips products.
I also posted on the English support forum for Philips, I'm waiting for a response...
Best regards.
