Hello,
I am stuck in Word 10 when I try to save a file with the following message: "unable to complete the save: access permission error for file c:\users\xxxx\xx.docx"
When I click on file in Word, on the left in the list of created documents, I see the title in docx but a blank page opens.
So I tried to create a file in OpenOffice, I saved it on a USB stick, it saved perfectly; when I wanted to open it, Word came up and that same message reappeared.
I went into the control panel, software list, and repaired Word; that didn't change anything.
What should I do? And if not, how can I open an odt file in OpenOffice and prevent Word from taking over to open an odt file? It tells me that the file is corrupted, suggests trying anyway, and then the file opens! So?
If Word 10 is not functioning properly, I will only use OpenOffice. Because if I go through OpenOffice and look for my file, it opens correctly in OpenOffice but requires an extra step.
Help please, thank you.
