Hello,
Hello,
I've had this problem for quite some time (I specify this because if it were recent, I would have restored it), and I've already lost lots of documents. When I finish typing a text, and I want to save it (usually as 97-2003), when I close the doc and it asks if I want to save changes and I click yes, I increasingly often get this message: unable to complete the save, file access permission error and WRL 0000 and other numbers.
I am working with Word 2007, I still have plenty of space on my C drive, and even by doing a system cleanup, nothing changes.
I've searched extensively on the internet and cannot find an answer.
I can't even follow the method that Word provides, with file recovery in the Office pane because I have nothing of that name in the Office button!
Can someone help me? Do you think if I uninstall Office and reinstall it, it would be effective?
Thank you for helping me because I'm stuck here.
In the meantime, I've rebooted my computer to factory settings, but the problem that was already present before has not been resolved.
Thanks again.
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 23.0

Hello,
I don't think this is a Word problem, but rather a permissions issue with the folder that receives temporary files. Indeed, Word creates a temporary file while working on the document, and when you want to save, this temporary file is replaced by a new one. And that's where it gets stuck. What the message "file access permission error and WRL" means is that you don't have access to this temporary folder. File names starting with ~WR are for Word's temporary files.
Even though it may seem strange, it's quite possible that this is an issue related to IE. First, try simply moving the directory for temporary files. To do this, go to IE, display the Internet Options, and click on the General tab.
In the browsing history, click on Settings, then on Move Folder. Choose a folder where you are sure you have permissions.
Then test your Word.
I want to clarify that, even though it's called Browsing History, that's where you'll find all your Word temporary files, in a Content Word folder.
Otherwise, I think it needs to be fixed in the registry.
You can also try using another account... I think your profile has an issue.

If you want to be helped effectively, make sure you're on the right forum,... and specify the software being used as well as its version. We lack clairvoyants!

I have Firefox as my browser but I also have IE which I never use.
But I went to the general tab and indeed there are a lot of cookies in the internet files when I look in settings to display files. I also have 2 objects in settings to display objects, can I delete them, is it useful?
Is it normal for there to be remaining files and can I therefore delete them one by one?
By the way, I just deleted a lot but I would say there are still about twenty left.

And indeed, I see that there are Office files inside.
Which folder can I choose to have the rights as you said?
But given all this, I'm thinking about deleting the history in IE even though I don't use it.
Well, I'll see what it looks like and I'll give you news in the coming days.
For now, have a good evening M@rina.
Is there a similar method to apply to Firefox?
