Touchpad has disappeared

Hello,

This is certainly a series of unfortunate events; after the Wi-Fi card suddenly disappeared, now my touchpad is not working anymore.

The fn+f9 combination doesn’t work.
When I go to settings / devices / in the list, only "mouse" appears.
No trace of my touchpad.

  What type of PC do you have? A desktop or a laptop? (Brand and model?)
  Is the touchpad an external pad connected via USB? Or is it part of the keyboard?

  Okay, I'm going to make the changes; but from what I've read, it's the PCs that have migrated to W10 that are having issues.
  Mine has always been on W10.
  It's after the factory reset that the touchpad stopped working.
  I'll keep you posted after the changes.

  I guess what you suggested: smartgesture crushed.
  In any case, I followed the tutorial from your first link and it worked again.

  This tutorial just saved me! I know it’s resolved, but I want to confirm that the first link in this topic "Baladur13" works PERFECTLY!
  Just find "Asus Smart Gesture," repair it, start the computer (it does this automatically), and there you go, you have your mouse back!

Oops, my mistake, I thought I read numeric keypad...

Is the touchpad also missing in the device manager?

  Yes, exactly, as shown in the image above
  Following my Wi-Fi card issue, I factory reset my PC, and since then the trackpad is not working. It was working perfectly well before that.

    The Asus smart gesture drivers must have been overwritten

    I downloaded the pack, but I have no idea what to do next. I ran all the setups, but I still don't have a touchpad...

It was a zipped file, (Smartgesture_win10_64_ver409.zip)
you had to double-click on it and then look for a setup exe to start the installation by clicking on it

In the device manager, no ? or ! ?

I have successfully unzipped the file and executed all the setup files present.

In the device manager, there is a yellow exclamation mark on "asus support device" under "mice and other pointing devices," but I cannot take action on it.
