UTorrent problem with HMA

Hello, for two years I've been using the VPN "HMA" alongside uTorrent. Until now, no problem, but for the past two months it's been a real struggle...

1) - To start my downloads, I have to launch uTorrent first, then the VPN. If I launch the VPN first, uTorrent doesn't download anything.
2) - When the download of a file finishes, the software freezes and doesn't move on to the next file, as if there were no more connection. To unblock the situation, I have to turn off the VPN and restart uTorrent.

Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance for the time you take to respond to my request ;-)

    Hi,

If you launch the software before HMA and it establishes connections... launching the VPN is pointless: the connections are established with your IP address and not the VPN's... :-)

As it stands: since you've been using it "this way," it's your IP that's visible and not the VPN's, understand that the VPN is useless...

Furthermore, HMA deliberately prohibits torrent use on certain servers... and clearly states that they do not tolerate this type of use when it's illegal (meaning, downloading copyrighted works...)

So you'll need to switch HMA servers until you find one that works with torrents... ;-)

Hi, thanks for your quick response and for the advice on using the VPN. I've been using it this way for two months now. Before that, I would launch the VPN and then uTorrent and it worked perfectly.

What I don't understand is why I'm having problems today when I never had any before?

The answer is higher up, I reiterate:
Furthermore, HMA voluntarily prohibits the use of torrent on certain of its servers... and clearly states that they do not tolerate such use when it is illegal (understand, downloading protected works...)

All it takes is for them to have decided to prevent usage on the server you are using... and it no longer works.

Ok... I understand. Thank you for your response.

So, do you know a better way to protect yourself than HMA?

      Hi
Same problem since I returned from vacation
Let's see if it gets better, I'm testing other servers but it's slow or doesn't work.

It must be acknowledged that it's coming from HMA
