Webcam not working on sites using Flash

Hello, I use an Asus Windows 10, my browsers are Chrome and Opera. A little over two weeks ago, I was using Chatroulette and Omegle without any problems, but since my return from vacation, where I didn't have my computer, the sites using Flash no longer recognize my webcam and therefore do not send images. Websites that do not use Flash, like WebRTC and others, work normally, but sites like Chatroulette tell me that "webcam is showing no activity" and the little green light does not turn on.
I have:
- the latest version of Flash
- the latest version of Opera
- the latest version of Windows 10
- the latest version of Chrome
- set my Flash settings in favor of certain sites and all sites
- confirmed that Flash is functioning
- only the built-in webcam of the computer, which works
- changed specific settings in the Windows firewall (but I don't know exactly what needs to be changed, I did it a bit randomly)
- also tried with manycams with no result because when I have to choose a webcam with Chatroulette or Flash, the name of my webcam does not appear, but that also happened when it was working, except that in that case I couldn't choose the Manycam webcam...

Aside from the fact that maybe one of the updates is buggy, I can't find any apparent problem and there have been no changes on the computer.

Thank you

Hi,

It seems to be a bug related to Chrome/Flash...

Try using Firefox, the problem shouldn't occur... This isn't the first case in recent days of someone complaining about this type of "issue" :-)

Wow, it works! At first, it told me that Flash was not installed (with Firefox), so I uninstalled/reinstalled it, then restarted the computer and it worked. However, now Opera is telling me that Adobe is not installed... And still the same thing with Chrome (camera inactive). I hope a future update will fix this issue, but for now, it works!
Thank you!

Each browser has its version of Flash. Firefox has its own, Opera does too. You need to independently download each version with the browser you want, and it installs the different versions in parallel.
