Hello*

I updated my Infinix Note 3 from an Android 6 version to an Android 7 version. However, I've noticed that version 7 is unstable. How can I restore my smartphone to its original version?? Please help me.

Downgrading is not recommended on an official device as it involves installing a custom OS.

Additionally, it voids the warranty.

because it involves installing a customized OS.

Negative, there are manufacturers that distribute their original ROMs (such as Samsung, Sony, LG, and HTC) and allow you to flash the phone with the manufacturer's ROM, just like it originally was... As a result, neither customized OS nor loss of warranty.

Furthermore, legally, flashing a "different" but compatible system does not automatically imply a loss of warranty. The loss of warranty only exists if it can be proven that the issues related to the reason for sending the phone for repair are due to the modification of the system. If your screen is broken, the warranty applies, even if the phone has a "custom" ROM - this is actually the policy applied by Samsung service centers.

True for the warranty, it doesn't break, but installing an unofficial system in any case, if you send it to customer service and it's a software issue, they will charge you for it.

That said, I thank you, thanks to you I found the websites that contain all the official firmwares for each model of phones and tablets with the corresponding versions to their releases for this brand, and they had the good idea to include the versions related to the countries as well as the tool for installing the desired firmware.

However, for the Infinix Note 3, the official firmware is on sketchy sites (I wouldn't take my chances anyway), and so in its case, no, it's not possible to downgrade officially with a safe ROM from the manufacturer because they don't provide it, nor the tool to install it.
