Hello,
I just got the Samsung Galaxy A5 and I would like to know how I can stop the updates from happening automatically.

Hello, for that go to the Play Store, select the menu at the top left, then go to settings, select at the top auto-update apps and choose do not auto-update apps.

Hello,
Go to your play store> my apps
Take them one by one and click on more or the 3 little dots and you will see appear:
Auto-update. And there you will see if it's checked, uncheck it.

So I went to "my apps" and to my surprise, the automatic update option is not checked even though there are updates that have started on their own.

  First of all, I don’t see why you don’t want the app updates, but that’s your problem and the KNIGHT 4000 solution has given it to you.
