Hello,
I graduated in 2010 from AFPA but unfortunately, I lost my diploma.
So, I would like to obtain a duplicate of my diploma, but it's impossible to find a contact who can guide me on how to get in touch with someone who could help.
I was told to go to the website http://direccte.gouv.fr/ but the site is so unintuitive that I don't understand anything on it and even less how to find the process to request a duplicate from the relevant service.
If someone could help me that would be really great because I've been struggling for several weeks now.
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Julie

Hello.
I don't know if that has changed; but when I was working at AFPA, it was clearly stated during the diploma handover that there would be never a duplicate, and it was up to the recipient to make copies to keep in various places, to find them when needed.

Did you read it well, Julie?
The link proposed by bentrop complements and clarifies what I explained to you:
So you don't have to go through the website; you just need to write.

At the end of your training, you will personally receive a certificate of completion. During the 5 years following the completion of your training, you can obtain a certificate of attendance by sending a written request by mail to the Afpa center where you completed your training.
I have lost my title or certification:
Afpa is not authorized to issue a duplicate or a training certificate. However, these documents can be obtained from the Direccte (formerly DDTEFP) where you took your exam.
Your letter, accompanied by a copy of an identity document, must:
Be addressed to you, dated and signed, specify the title and dates of your training,
provide a postal or email address for sending the document
So you don't have to go through the website; you just need to write.

Good evening,
To read https://www.afpa.fr/actualites/demandez-votre-attestation
You need to ask the Direccte.
Best regards.

Hello and thank you both very much, but as I specified, I have been on the Direccte website, but it's impossible to find how and where to make the request!
I don't know if you've ever been on this site, but it's not intuitive at all, and as a result, I'm stuck on this site :(
I'm afraid that if I write a letter, I'll never get a response...
Best regards,
Julie

I'm afraid that if I write a letter, I will never get a response...
But if you don't write a letter, it's sure, guaranteed, and certain that you won't get a response!
If you don't know how to use the site, you can grab a directory to find the address, check the Internet, or ask at Pôle Emploi.

By the way, what diploma did you obtain in 2010:
Multi-service shoemaker, Store salesperson, Hospitality agent...?

Retirement is nice! Especially in the Caribbean... :-)
Raymond (INSA, AFPA, CF/R)
Hello Raymond, and thank you for taking the time to respond to me.
It's a software developer diploma that I obtained in 2010 from AFPA in Brest...
For your information, as I mentioned above, I have already contacted AFPA, which redirected me to the website http://direccte.gouv.fr/, but I cannot find any section that could help me contact the administration...
Thank you

But since you must have sent photocopies of the diploma to the companies where you were applying for a job, you can also try to retrieve one...
