Connecting EQ to an amplifier.

It's exactly the connection I made, to the tape1 input at the back of the amp (the JA S11 also having a Tape2 at the front). But it doesn't change anything; maybe I made a mistake with my selection on the front knobs.
At the front of the amp, there are two selectors, one labeled Dubbing (1>2 source and 2>1) and the other monitor 1 source and 2. Both are currently set to source. When I adjust the dubbing, it doesn't change anything, but if I switch the source selector to 1 or 2, there's no sound, so I have to leave it on source...

To ensure your EQ is functional, you need to select the TAPE input..

So after playing with the selectors, we really had to set the monitoring to 1 and not leave it on source, which triggers the Tape1 circuit... and a good blow-out and a check-up wouldn't hurt this EQ that didn't activate the first time... anyway, thanks for your answers! :)
