Connecting an equalizer to an amplifier

Hello,

I have a NEC AG-100E equalizer with 8 outputs on the back: 2 for input, 2 for output, 2 for recording, and 2 for playback, but I lost the manual.
I would like to connect it to a Marantz PM 5004.
Can someone help me?
Best regards

Hello

logically, you need to connect the equalizer to the Tape (or Recorder, according to the picture) input/output of your amplifier.

Tape Out outputs from the amplifier to the Input of the EQ.

Output from the EQ to the Tape In inputs of the amplifier.

And, on the amplifier, select the input to listen to, for example, CD; but activate the 'Tape Monitor'.

Hello, thank you for responding but unfortunately it doesn't work. I vaguely remember that all the sheets in the back were connected, and that part was connected to the cassette deck which (not sure at all) served as a monitor. But anyway. Best regards.

Good evening, listen this works, great, the only hitch is that I have to stay on tuner and switch the tape monitor of the EQ, (remote control useless then)
And I have to turn the volume knob a bit higher than usual
but otherwise perfect, thanks again.
