Update of my GPS 83 Takara Solved

Hello,  How do I update my Takara GPS 83?  Thanks in advance. Configuration: Windows / Chrome 35.0.1916.114

I have the same problem ^
I received an update code, I downloaded the update software (2 hours) for the download. The update was installed and to restart the device, it asks me for a
license code and an activation code. I have neither. I sent a message to Takara to explain my problem
If I don't get a response in 1 month, I will return the GPS to the address provided in their message, asking them to do it themselves. In the meantime, I pulled out my old Garmin, which isn’t more up to date, but at least it works.

See, and additionally you are supposed to register with them and then supposedly they send you an email if an update exists, and given the complaints from Takara owners, you're not sure you'll get any proper response... but take your chance, and nothing prevents you from contacting them, and you'll see

It seems to me that there was also a deadline to register after purchase, often a maximum of 30 days, but nothing is certain.

I sent messages to Takara to get an update; my device indicates every time I start it: outdated mapping. I received a message from them saying that updates have been sent out for 3 months, and I am still waiting without seeing anything come through. (lifetime mapping, I have serious doubts)

Hello, I received an update, I downloaded it but my GPS is asking me for an activation code? What is that, because in the email I received a License code to download the update, but it doesn't mention anything about an activation code.
