    @Loukoumpremier, welcome to the forum but you're starting off on the wrong foot and you're acting like ''those who want to drown their dog accuse it of rabies''.

    If you installed your software from a sketchy site that bundled malware with it, it's not the software that's faulty because it's perfectly operational and it uninstalls properly.

    You won't gain credibility by spreading nonsense. ;-)

      I'm not here to receive your moral lessons; the fact remains that this software is poison and does not suit me at all. To each their own!!!
      Instead of pointless comments, a response with a solution would be appreciated, and let's leave Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, like others, alone.

      This is precisely a portable version and I cannot find any trace (location) of this poison, in order to allow me to uninstall it


      Since it is a portable version, it is not installed and therefore it is normal that you do not find it in the programs to uninstall

      Right-click on the icon you use to launch it === Properties

      This will give you the location of the program

      As stated in my post at 8:14 AM, you will only need to delete the folder you found

      It seems to me, it's premature to move this topic to the Virus/security forum

        Hello,
        I can't find any icon (anywhere) to launch this application, and that's the problem. Under these conditions, it's impossible to open (properties) to find out where it's hiding in order to eliminate it!
        So what would be the solution?

    Like any software
    The menus differ depending on the Windows version
    - On W10 Settings / Apps / Apps & features / select the app from the list / Uninstall
    - or via the Control Panel / Programs and Features / same suite

      Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, in this way, it would be too easy. This program (which I absolutely do not recommend) is something vicious that is nowhere to be found to eliminate. It is also an invader that substitutes for Word and other software while being a first-rate spy! There must certainly be a way, but which one!!!

        Don't say just anything, PDF Xchange Viewer is not malicious and is a very good, widely used tool.

        Instead, explain what you did and looked for, and give your Windows version.

      ?? No worries with PDF Xchange Viewer .. it doesn't replace anything

      If you can't find how to uninstall it, check where you downloaded it from and how you installed it

      Maybe it's a portable version, which you just need to delete the folder
