Hello, a taskbar (or address bar) is invited under my address bar and it installed game and travel shortcuts on the desktop, I can't remove it. I can delete the shortcuts but they come back after a while. when I right-click and properties, it shows an http address and not the location on disk C or D. Is there a pro to advise me, thanks in advance Michel

Hi
if your bar isn’t in add/remove programs then download this and scan with the browser closed.

Hello, there’s a very simple way. Normally when you open a web page, there’s a bar at the top that appears; you have to go to the website of that bar. Then, in the middle, at the bottom of that page, click HELP. Then you look at one of the first six lines; you’ll see the word UNINSTALL appear in the sentence, click it and you just have to click DOWNLOAD. When the patch finishes downloading, you just run it and say Yes. There you go, everything is removed. It has even blocked access to this page and removed all casino shortcut points and others. ++

The bar belongs to a website; by performing a search using this bar, you land on their website.

Finally, in a version update, they reinstated the bar, so I wrote step by step everything I did; it will be easier, so here it is:
go to http://mysearchnow.com/
Then at the bottom of this page, click HELP
Then, you click on the 3rd sentence << How do I uninstall one of your software products? >>
And in the middle of the page you will see in blue "downloaded here", click on it and it will download a
patch, then run this patch; when it's finished, click OK and retype the code (the software will provide it, click uninstall, then YES, then OK and OK.
Here is the complete solution to remove it.

Hi, I hope you don’t mind me bothering you, I have a problem that’s really getting on my nerves while I’m being polite. I have the QuickNavigate site (which I hate) that starts up on every connection and it prevents me from going to certain sites. My wife is getting impatient (she who used to think I was the king of tinkering), I’m stuck now. I’ve tried a lot of things like adware, spyware, etc... nothing works, even hijackthis. please help me.

Thanks in advance

You just need to go to Google's search bar, left-click the small arrow on the right, "manage search engines," and delete searchos. That's it.

Hi, I’d like to ask you if you have a search bar at the bottom of this website; if yes, you uninstall MSN Messenger, and if you have MSN Plus you uninstall that as well, you remove everything but the last MSN programs; after knowing how to remove and re-add, you reinstall them. But be careful with the questions it asks you—not accepting sponsors. I’m telling you this because I had that search bar at the bottom, and as soon as I turn on my PC you’ll see it’s gone. Good luck.

In the Security tab I set it to low security, I switched to medium, but will that affect my downloads? Now that this is done, can I go back to download here?

you should try to uninstall MSN Plus, then go to http://www.msgplus.net/global.php?lang=fr to download the latest version of MSN Plus. During installation, around the 3rd step, it will ask you if you want to display this toolbar, you choose the second line: << I refuse to support, install Messenger Plus! without the sponsor >> and there you go.

What is MSN Plus, I don’t have it in my programs... Moreover it isn’t a bar that stops me from accessing the net, it’s a “search the web” window! I’m considering very seriously formatting my PC but I can’t even manage that!! Is that bad, doctor?

Thank you

Thomas

Hello, there is a logic to it, actually, the bar is attached to MSN Plus.
In the new MSN Plus version (MsgPlus-340Beta), during installation it will ask you if you want to install the bar or not, so it's better to check NO. And for your security level, well, I don't know who/what it is to where it was at low, but it blocks certain downloads. It’s better to leave it at Default.

Hello everyone, some people tell me that my security settings prevent me from downloading the file for uninstalling the toolbar!!! how can I do it, help me I'm fed up!

PS: my computer keeps crashing and freezing all the time, I would like to know if it could be due to MSN Plus or to this famous toolbar????

Alright, here is the translation: "Okay for your crash issue, I don’t know if it has anything to do with it, but in any case, what you should try is uninstall MSN Plus, and install the latest version (the MsgPlus-340Beta). When you click Next (i.e., twice) in the setup, you’ll see that you can choose whether you want this 'fucking' toolbar or not. ps: I used a bad nickname before, the one from Jof."
