Hello, I changed my SIM card two days ago and I noticed that I don't receive SMS, so I looked at my phone number in the settings and I saw that it doesn't display the correct number.

    Hello,

    Mine (which is not a Samsung) displays in this area a number that has nothing to do with the format of a phone number (some arbitrary serial number?) and that does not prevent it from working.

    I believe this area is incremented (or not) by the operator who writes (or not) in the SIM the phone number or any other number of its own fancy.

    There is surely more of a question of APN settings by the operator.
