Hello,
I have a satellite dish and an OPTEX TNT SAT decoder. For about 15 days, I've been regularly experiencing signal loss. Suddenly, my TV displays NO signal. Then it comes back and disappears again... In short, it's unwatchable.
This weekend it completely stopped working. Then it came back on Monday.
On Monday evening, the channels were working more or less correctly, but channels 7, 15, and 16 had disappeared.
I don't know what to do. A technician came and told me it might be due to the trees in the garden.
We trimmed what was in the path of the satellite dish, and it didn't change anything. So now we don't know what else to do...
Any ideas? Could it be the heat, a misalignment of the dish, or the LNB head???
If anyone has encountered a similar case???
Thank you for your help...

Hello,
You may have faults in the connections and links between your antenna and receiver... cable damage, connection issues, assembly of the "F" plugs, etc.
-- But above all, and probably a lack of precision in the orientation settings of your satellite dish... especially if it was done by eye... the alignment is quite demanding and proper stabilization is crucial; it shouldn't budge an inch, even if a bird lands on it.
