Upgrade from Office 2003 to 2007

Hello everyone,
I have the Office 2003 disk. After installing it on my PC two years ago, I later realized that I had upgraded to the 2007 version (I assume this came from an update, as I do not own Office 2007). However, I just reset my PC, and of course reinstalled Office 2003, and despite having done the updates that Windows requested, I am still on 2003.
So I would like to know the number of the update that allows the upgrade from Office 2003 to Office 2007, if such an update actually exists. Otherwise, I wonder how I had Office 2007 for two years (and no, I did not pirate the software!).
