Hello,
I need help with my printer - Canon Pixma IP 1600 - it has been put into security mode with the message "your waste ink tank is full"; I would like to know if someone could help me open the printer and, of course, advise me on how to replace this tank.

    Good evening,
    this may help you:

    The used ink tank is designed to safely collect all used ink expelled during printhead cleaning and borderless printing on photo printers.

    Over time, the used ink tank can become full and needs to be replaced.
    Replacing the used ink tank should be done at an authorized Canon repair center to prevent ink leakage that could damage the printer.

    I was hoping I could do the repair myself.
    Shipping to PARIS is required, I believe, not to perform the repair.
    I will try to find an authorized CANON repair center near me.
