Hello, I own a CANON MP150 printer, which gives me full satisfaction, but for a few days I have a message indicating service micro ink tank almost full: and in the round window of the printer the message E 8.
I don't know where this tank is located; its location is not indicated in the manual. Should I empty it? I can print by clicking the black and white print button. This message only appears when I turn the printer back on after a period of non-use. My PC uses WINDOWS XP
Thank you for your help, good afternoon.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Find on this forum:
E8: The waste ink absorber is almost full. The ink used for cleaning is absorbed into the waste ink absorber installed in the machine. <E, 8> indicates that the waste ink absorber is almost full. Press [Black] or [Color] to cancel the error and continue printing. If this error occurs, the waste ink absorber must be replaced and the machine serviced. Canon recommends contacting a Canon service representative as soon as possible. Once the waste ink absorber is full, printing is impossible until it is replaced.-
Hello,
With my thanks for what you tell me, we will try to see at AUCHAN where we bought this printer. In the manual this is not mentioned, nor is the location shown.
Thank you for your help- Hello SYL67
I’d like to apologize for the delay in replying, but I’m just back from vacation. Regarding our Canon printer, we tried using a cotton swab (long and wide) to remove the ink, but it spilled everywhere, so considering the cost of labor plus materials, we bought an EPSON printer (without a used ink reservoir) for about 60 euros.
The Canon printer was 3 years old, and I print a lot of documents, so if we change the reservoir, in 3 years it’ll be the same story again...
Have a good evening everyone
