Full ink absorber on Canon IP 1700

Hello,

I have performed the indicated operations to upgrade the counters on my printer, but I still have the message indicating that the ink absorber is nearly full.
I would like to empty it, but I do not know where it is located. Please let me know the steps to carry out this operation.

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

You need to reset the used ink counter to unlock the printer:

Thank you for your response.
I cleaned the absorber with a cotton swab and tried the second method, but it didn't yield any results. So, I unplugged everything and applied the first method, which this time worked. Thanks again.

Hello,

Printer error 5B00 Canon MG 6150 contact your service center.

I cleaned the ink absorber pad, but I can no longer access the ink cartridges to change two of them that are empty.

I cannot reset it.

What utility and where can I download it for my CANON MG 6150 printer?
