Hello,
I recently subscribed to an internet plan with Free and I have a Freebox Mini 4K.
I set it up last night and it makes a constant noise like a loud hum.
What can I do?
Apparently, this has happened with many other customers and nothing has been improved so far.
Do you have any information on this?

Hello, first solution: unplug it and place it vertically. If after 30 minutes it’s still making the same noise, call Free and tell them that the fan is making a terrible noise and that the box must be defective. Indeed, Free’s boxes lack ventilation. The simplest thing is to place all the boxes vertically to maximize ventilation. If you want to leave it horizontally, use corks; they cost nothing and there’s no risk of overheating if you place them in all four corners.
