Network driver controller issue

Hello,

I'm reaching out to you because I've already faced several failures in resolving my issue. I'm therefore asking for your help.

Here’s my problem:

Device Manager > Network Controller (Alert) >
"Manufacturer: unknown
Location: PCI Bus 3, Device 0, Function 0
Device Status: The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)"

Hardware:
HP Pavilion p6-2370ef desktop with original components

PC history:
Windows version replaced by that of my personal ASUS R900V because, let me explain:
.. The owner, my brother, has done multiple formats, the first to reset the PC to new, the second because Windows updates wouldn’t work (Failed to configure), the third because 1. bug, blank welcome screen, no desktop access even with the Windows key, 2. upon restarting, Windows Update requested an update for itself which failed, making it impossible to perform updates, and here comes the moment of the last formatting with his recovery USB which went well... until 35%. Then it was impossible to restart Windows, logically.
.. My interpretation is a problem with the Windows recovery key, hence reformatting with my recovery key.

So here we are at the error mentioned above!
Without internet connection on the HP, it's impossible to run a scan and retrieve drivers on touslesdrivers.com.

TEST 1:
- Search on C:\, then on HP & ASUS recovery key via the driver search in Device Manager. Unsuccessful.

TEST 2:
Searching via HP features for drivers... So far unsuccessful with the following files (I'm swimming... I'm swimming... I would even say I'm sinking, I can't find a solution and may have done some maybe silly tests but I confirm I uninstalled the device and restarted before writing to you...) :
- on https://support.hp.com/fr-fr/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-p6-Desktop-PC-series/5295969/model/5309871 I tested:
. Original driver for the Realtek network controller
. Original Intel Management Engine Interface driver (well maybe it wasn't related but as I said, I'm struggling!)
- Other supports:
. Intel(R) Chipset Device Software v10.0

I would have liked to test a driver for the Joshua motherboard of this HP but... on touslesdrivers I find too many things and I don't want to mess up.

PLEASE, do you have a solution to my problem?

PS: a lot of ASUS software on his HP because of my ASUS key, removing them is fine (each thing at its time), but do you know if there are necessary programs to download for his PC once (I’m keeping my fingers crossed saying this) it gets internet back?

    Try this one instead --> Wireless
    and put it in your documents.

    Right-click on --> sp66089.exe
    Choose --> extract all

    Go to the device manager
    Right-click on the device in question
    Update driver
    Search for a driver on my computer
    Browse
    Go to your documents
    Go into the driver folder created --> sp66089
    Folder --> drivers
    Folder --> win8
    Select the folder --> x64
    OK, next
    Restart

      Kaneagle,

      Thank you, you saved me ( ...well, the PC, but also me because I was starting to despair! ).
      That said, I have to tell you, just for your information, regarding the last file sent, the method I used was not the same as the one you proposed, because the search for the driver in the manager was unsuccessful even though I indicated the said folder containing the file, so I just launched it, and it worked. I am currently restarting his computer, but it had already recognized the network controller and was offering me WIFI connections.

      I'm going straight to allosdrivers to give this computer every chance and install the necessary software for its proper functioning. Let's hope that the Windows updates also work so that it doesn't get reformatted right away! I’m keeping the driver safe just in case!!! :)

    Hello,

    Go to the device manager
    Provide the hardware ID of the network controller
    It's a number that should look something like this as an example:
    --> PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_1026&SUBSYS.......
    If needed, check --> here
    Post the number in your next message.

    --> Operating system?
    --> 32 or 64 bits?

      Here’s what it shows me:

    So, I'm not going to dive into the depths of your problem and I'm just here to provide you with a solution with this little accessory:

    Once in place, connect the Ethernet adapter to the PC that has issues, you will solve the problems and honestly, the adapter is not useless and can help you (or your friends) next time.

      Thank you, you are right that a PC-to-PC connection is often very helpful. I thought about it, but not having one, I did other tests. Having said that, it's a very good solution, and I still hope to succeed with the help of Kaneagle. Fingers crossed, but he seems knowledgeable.

        attention the accessory is not for a PC/PC connection it is made for a BOX/PC connection

    Try this driver --> Wireless

    Right-click on the driver --> sp63832.exe
    Choose --> extract all
    Go to the created driver folder --> sp63832
    Run the file --> install.exe
