Have you removed and replaced the cartridge in question...?
It may be faulty, but not certain either!
Gently clean the contacts with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol, and do the same in the slot where the ink comes out, it may have dried up... if that's the case, you need to insist.

Hello, if your problem is still relevant! I just solved the same issue by cleaning the sensor of the ink cover and the circuit board in the cartridge slot. You also need to disassemble it to clean the circuit board behind the cartridge slot. I'm not sure if I'm being clear in my explanation, but everything will become clear after disassembly.
