Hello,
I have a big problem with my HP Pavilion dv7 laptop since a little while ago...
So, you should know that it hasn't been used for 15 days, and I was supposed to sell it tomorrow, so I start it up tonight to check that everything is fine, and surprise: the laptop powers on, the lights come on but there's no display...
And strangely, the battery indicator is blinking along with two others: one above the numeric keypad on the right and another on the far left at the height of the "lock" key... And it stays like that, the fan is running, the LEDs at the top (volume control, power button, etc...) are lit but nothing happens!
If anyone has any idea, it would be nice to help me out, especially since I'm annoyed because I was supposed to sell it tomorrow...
Thanks in advance!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 535.2

Hi
does booting in safe mode not work??
maybe the CLEAR CMOS
you unplug the power supply, remove the battery then
you press the START button for about 30 seconds??
or if you're allowed to open it, you remove and reseat the RAM sticks.
I would check if the hard drive is properly seated... etc??
do you have access to your PC's BIOS at startup??
access to the BIOS depends on the brand/https://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/18870-configurer-proprement-la-sequence-de-demarrage-dans-le-bios
willpower allows you to climb on the sims.

Thank you for the tip, it's still valid in 2025!
