laptop off, charger blinking

Question

Hello,

My PC shut down with a little beep, and since then, I can't turn it back on. Nothing happens when I press the "start" button. It's an Acer Aspire 5670 laptop.
I tried to turn it on with just the battery, no response. And when I plug in the charger cable, the charger light is blinking...
I hope you can advise me.
Oh yes, it's no longer under warranty with the retailer or the manufacturer...grrrr

Hello, so my problem is almost the same; my PC has no battery left and the charger light is blinking faintly and doesn't want to charge my PC. I doubt it's the PC, but the cable that has an issue! If anyone could help me, please, thank you =) I'm waiting for a response very quickly because it's a nightmare not being able to use my PC :(:(:

it's that the power controllers were fried, so when I took it to an electronics technician, he managed to replace them, and since then, the laptop works perfectly.

Hi,

Have you tried using another charged battery? Because the impression I get from your problem is that your battery is dead and your charger can't recharge it.

I would advise you to find a charged equivalent battery and see if your phone turns on. If it does, plug in the charger and check if it's charging, either by the indicator light on the front or through the Microsoft software. First, check if it still blinks.

If that works, it means your battery is shot and it's short-circuiting the charger.

The other possibility is that your charger is dead (the capacitor might be dead inside). Find a working charger and see if you have the same symptoms.

The last, more serious case is that it might be the charging component on the motherboard that is dead, usually a MAXIM, and that's more complicated because it needs to be desoldered, but it's special CMS. You can obtain the component for free from MAXIM.

I have the same problem, it seems!
The charger works fine on its own. As soon as I plug it into the PC, nothing happens, well, the blue startup logo blinks for a few seconds accompanied by the orange diode (indicates whether it’s charging or not). The charger also seems to work, but suddenly my laptop and charger turn off. Nothing!
I followed your advice and removed the battery, plugged in my charger, and MIRACLE THE CHARGER (the green diode is on) works, but as soon as I tried to press the button, everything turned off, no charger or any lights on. . .
I should maybe add that my charger has been very hot several times!! Everything was fine today. . .

Maybe it's a memory stick issue. Try changing the stick with the slot or testing the PC without the stick. If it works, then it's a stick problem.

Personally, I have the same problem and the issue was precisely with the charger. The laptop wouldn't turn on, and the charger light was blinking when I plugged it into the laptop. I hope this can help.

Hello everyone.

I have a Samsung laptop that won't turn on anymore.
- With the battery in and the laptop plugged in, the charge LED keeps flashing orange. So the battery isn't charging and I can't turn on my laptop.
- Without the battery, and with the laptop plugged in, the LED is solid green. But I still can't turn on my laptop. And when I put the battery back in, the LED goes back to flashing orange.

What could be the problem? Is my battery dead?
