So here I am, I just bought a hi-fi system from a flea market, brand Kaisui (if you know this brand, let me know!!!) with a vinyl turntable on top and 2 cassette players. The problem is that it does not play the vinyls all the way through, but especially it does not play some of my vinyls all the way through. So I would like to know the source of the problem. Thank you in advance.

Hello, if I understand correctly, the tonearm is stored while the vinyl record is not finished?
My memories are dated, but I believe I remember that there is an adjustment knob at the base of the tonearm; it's that knob that adjusts the end-of-travel of the tonearm. If it's as I think, you just have to turn this knob one way or the other to allow more movement of the arm towards the center of the record.

In fact, to say that this must be a low-end chain, there are no screws and the arm doesn't return when the vinyl is finished. To start playing a vinyl, you have to slightly turn the arm to the right.

Actually, how to say since this is supposed to be a low-end turntable, there are no screws and the arm does not return when the vinyl is finished. To start playing a vinyl, you have to slightly turn the arm to the right.

Hi, that's right, I remember that some turntables need to move to the right to start the platter rotation, but I'm surprised there isn't a adjustment knob, perhaps it's inside the chain under the arm!! Don't you have an opening near the arm? Maybe with a cap on it to close the hole? Otherwise, check the thickness (side of the device) to see if there are any openings....
Good evening
We should first check if there is a hard spot when approaching the center of the disc by moving the arm by hand.
We need to open the machine and see what is causing the stop, whether it's a mechanical blockage or an electrical shutdown.
As for the adjustment knob located on the back of the arm, it is used to adjust the pressure of the sapphire on the disc.

Hello, I also have a Kaisui brand device; it's the all-in-one compact system. The turntable is a BSR, and I have the same issue where the arm doesn't read all the way to the end. Apparently, this is due to it being automatic, which causes this problem, and the only thing to do is adjust this knob or set the size of the disc because mine has a size selector for 7", 10", and 12". There you go.
