Hello,
I bought a Thomson 32HA3113W television yesterday that has an RJ45 Ethernet port. After searching through the manual, I can't find anything mentioning this port, nor any connected TV function or internet browser on the TV. I found the network setup menu, but no further details on its usefulness. Once connected to the internet, nothing happens...
I still don't understand what this port is for? (it's not a smart TV according to the description).

Hello
Are you sure about the version of the TV?
Because on this link, there is no indication of the presence of this Ethernet port
https://www.lcd-compare.com/televiseur-THO32HA3113W-THOMSON-32HA3113W.htm
It is possible that this port is available for another version (even a more recent or higher-connected version of the same TV, for example) where the connectivity is the same, but the port inactive in your case.
If the port is active, then when you connect the TV to your box via RJ, you should be able to enter the WAP or WEP key to associate, which is not the case.. and seems normal since "not a smart TV."

I still don't understand
Otherwise, the connection test available on the TV works.
