My computer does not recognize my headphones.

Hello,

I bought an Asus A540S Series laptop a few months ago that works well, but I'm facing a little problem: it doesn't recognize my earphones when I plug them into the Jack socket. In fact, when I plug in my earphones, the sound still comes from my computer as well as from the earphones, but sometimes not at all from the earphones. I have a single Jack socket intended for headphones and microphone; I have Apple earpods. Could you help me?

I found a solution, so for those who have the same problem, I did the following:

- Go to Control Panel
- Realtek HD Audio Manager
- Click on the folder in Analog on the right
- Enable the windows to pop up every time a device is plugged in
