Hello,
I have just acquired a GIGASET AS405A TPH and I would like to know how to configure it so that the names of the callers I have stored in the phone display when they call? I only see their number, and the name is much more informative??
Configuration: Windows / Mozilla 11.0

Hello,
If I am to believe the manual, as long as your directory has your correspondent's number stored in memory, during a call, if the conditions are met, it is indeed the name that should appear.
Excerpt from the manual on page 6Caller ID presentation
However, I believe that the number stored in the directory must be encoded in the same way as that transmitted by your operator.
During an incoming call, the number or name of the caller (if it is stored in the directory) appears on the screen.
Conditions:
1 You have requested your network operator to activate the Caller ID presentation service (CLIP) so that this information appears on your screen.
2 The caller has requested their operator to activate number transmission (CLI).
The screen displays External call if you have not requested the display of the number,
Private number if the caller has disabled the number presentation, or Unknown
if they have not requested it.
Not sure if 0033xxxxxxxxxx or +33xxxxxxxxxx will be recognized if the phone simply displays xxxxxxxxxx during the call.
