Accessing the BIOS of an Acer E15 (password issue)

Hello,

I have an Acer E15 laptop running Linux, and I want to install Windows in dual boot on a separate partition (Linux is very useful, but certain software on the same website is incompatible with Linux, so I'd like to use Windows when it's impossible to use Linux).

For that, I need the BIOS password for the computer, which I don't have (the computer was provided by the region). I tried to access it, and after several errors, the error message showed up

"select item
-enter unlock password
-system shut down"

I select the first option, and the computer displays

"Enter unlock password (key: 50495614)
"

I retrieved this sequence of numbers and went to the bios-pw.com site
hoping to get a password. The site did offer a sequence of numbers, but to my great dismay,
I simply cannot enter numbers as passwords:
The "*" only appears when I type letters, but not when I type a number, whether from the top row of the keyboard or from the numeric keypad on the right.
Some uppercase letters also seem not to be able to be entered.

Is it normal that I cannot write numbers?
How can I access the BIOS?
