Remove a BIOS password on Toshiba

Good evening, I set a BIOS password on my computer and I have tried all the methods to access the BIOS (F12, etc.) and I would like to remove it without having to disassemble the computer.

    This certainly won't help to solve the problem, but it's to improve my knowledge:

    why complicate existence by using a BIOS password, which only serves to strictly deny access to a PC to unauthorized persons, but involves either writing it down or knowing how to read the instructions?

    Isn't a simple Windows password enough?
