How to access the bios on my acer

Since Windows 8, laptops don’t really turn off anymore; they go into hibernation, which is like sleep but deeper. The unique feature of this function is that the PC doesn’t really start from scratch, so there’s no BIOS POST, and therefore, no access possible.
To access it, you simply need to restart the computer from the Start menu.
Then the BIOS POST will take place, and you just have to press the right key at the right time.

Okay, normally it's the F2 key at startup of the PC

I don't know how to access the BIOS of my PC because during startup no message appears to access the settings (for example: press F2)...

PS: you can "reactivate" the function in the BIOS
