Macrium Reflect: insufficient space

Good evening,

I have a complete backup of my PC scheduled from my computer to my external hard drive every Sunday at 4 PM. However, for the past few weeks, when I do the backup, I get error 0x01, and the logs tell me that there is insufficient space on my drive.

However, since the old backup is replaced by the new one, my hard drive should have enough space (the current backup size is 677GB, I have 200GB left on the drive, and my PC totals 749GB).

I'm not very familiar with this software, so I might have misconfigured the backup (or perhaps I've expressed myself poorly in my explanation).

I would like to know how to complete my backup without it failing halfway through.

Thank you very much in advance for your responses!

      Hi,
Personally, I often use Macrium Reflect, but only to clone the Windows partition or an entire hard drive, tasks that this software performs perfectly.

As for data backups, I believe it's better to turn to a specialized software like SyncBack Free, which is always essential in this field with exemplary speed and reliability.
