Hello,

I'm looking for a way to open and read .PART files.

I'm on Windows 7, 32 bits.

Help please.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 49.0

    Hi.

Actually, .part files are temporary files used for downloading a complete file.

Basically, if you end up with a .part file, it’s useless to you.

It happens to me when I download videos (with youtube-dl) but interrupt the download for various reasons.

I replied above, also, thank you for your post. This is about firmware that I downloaded. They are complete, so something needs to be reconfigured but I don't know what. Thank you.

    Hello,

As mentioned above, the files are incomplete; see this discussion for example where someone wanted to download a driver (which is roughly equivalent to firmware): https://forum.touslesdrivers.com/reponses.php?v_code=2&v_message=1036853&v_pm=46&v_pr=1

    Best regards

Hello, on the 12th, 6 days ago, I intended to rename the documents by removing the "suffix" .PART: I was able to open them afterwards!

Alright, that saved you from downloading again ;)
      Take care,
      Bye

You download torrents or something like that, don't you?
