Hello Baladur13,
Thank you very much for your quick response.
That's really nice of you!
So:
This message appears even before the numbering is finished.
The icons on the standby screen do not blink.
They are as follows:
- Eco Mode
- Answering machine active
- Battery "charged"
- Current time
- Current day and month
There you go, Baladur13, I have answered the questions asked.
Please let me know if my phone is dead or not.
Once again, thank you very much..
Best regards.

Hello,
Does this message appear before the dialing is finished? Or after hearing the beeps of this dialing that correspond to the actual call being made?
Can you describe (using the manual on page 4 of the pdf below) the icons present on the screen in standby mode, clearly stating whether they are blinking or not.

It is very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
Yes, Baladur13, the charge level is full.
This phone is from April 2012.
That's it!
Is it really dead???
Thanks in advance.

Everything seems to be happening as if during the numbering the handset loses communication with its base... (that's just my interpretation).
The tired batteries (inability to provide the necessary power despite a full charge) could be the cause... but 4 years is little!
You can try resetting both the handset and the base to their default settings...
see the manual:
- on page 71 (73 of the pdf) for the handset
- on page 72 (74 of the pdf) for the base
I also invite you to ask the technical services of GIGASET via the contact page, by email or by phone.

Thank you very much, Baladur13.
Thank you for your good advice and your responsiveness.
It's nice to have professionals online!
It really was the battery that was dead!
In the end, I bought the latest Gigaset model (C620A). It's great.
There you go!
Thanks again...
Best regards.

Content for you... but buying new batteries could have also breathed new life into this tired handset...
Note... it is possible that this handset (once the batteries are replaced) may also be compatible with the base of your new device... which would allow you to have an additional handset by linking it with the new base...
See: note that the 610A handset is called C610H
https://www.gigaset.com/fr_fr/cms/assistance/compatibilite/produits.html#product1=459
It is indeed compatible.
