Problem with fixed phone Gigaset AS 200A Base not responding anymore

After changing the batteries on the Gigaset AS 200A, the base no longer works. Both phones are charged, but the base does not respond; both phones continuously display "Base" flashing. I cannot make or receive calls; do you have a solution? It's been a while since this morning; thank you for responding.
