The HDMI sound on my PS4 is not working.

Hello,

I have a problem, I connected my PS4 to the HDMI/DVI 1 input of my TV (Samsung) and I have a perfect picture but no sound is coming from my TV, and I'm afraid to mess things up since I don’t know much about it, I hope you can help me.

Hello,

Set your PS4 settings as follows:
[Settings] > [Sound and Screen] > [Audio Output Settings] > [Primary Output Port] and select [DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL)] even if your PS4 is connected to your TV/Monitor via HDMI.

Among the options [Dolby Digital 5.1ch], [DTS5.1ch], and [AAC], you can select the option you want.

I tried what you just explained to me but there's still no sound... yet the sound works on HDMI input 2, but the TV is connected to it.

I found the solution: just hold down the button to turn on the controller, and in sound/device, there is an output to the headset, and you need to set it to all audio.

I found it !! You need to go to settings / Sound and display / and check (system music) there you go, have a nice day ❤️
