How to play with 2 controllers on PS4?

Hello, I would like to know if you can tell me how I could play with 2 controllers connected to the PS4? I managed to connect the controllers, and when I use them on the home page of my PS, it works well, but when I want to play with someone on a game, the controller stops working. I would like to know why?

Hi.

It's probably that the game is not compatible for local multiplayer on a single console? ;-)

Check the back of the game case or on the PS Store page.

Some games only support online multiplayer...

The game is compatible; in fact, I have the FIFA game, and even with this game, I can't play with a friend with two controllers connected.

Since it's about playing on the same console, it doesn't matter much.

Do you make sure to indicate to FIFA a multiplayer mode compatible with playing with two on the same console? :-)

Not playing it myself... I don't even know if that mode still exists in FIFA.

It's all good, I found it, I just had to play with the second controller, thank you anyway.
