I have a problem with a clothing/shoe website... I hope you can help me.
I bought shoes on the Mon Mode Room site (http://www.monmoderoom.com/) for €85, with free shipping, and I still haven't received the shoes. Maybe I need to wait a bit longer, it's only been a week since I ordered them, despite the information on the package stating that it would arrive within 5 days at the latest. I hope to receive them because the biggest problem is that I wasn't charged €85, but €94.35 under some name I don't recognize! It's impossible to contact the website, neither the seller nor anything else... I didn't pay attention to the seller's name or where it was coming from when I ordered the item. When I check my order information, they confirm that I paid €85 but it's not the same price on my bank account... And the site does not display any number to call in case of a problem, you can write a message but it doesn't go through...
Please, what can I do?

ORDER FINALLY ARRIVED!
After a month and a half of waiting, with an extra €10 charged on top of my purchase price, my order has finally arrived at its destination. My shoes are of very good quality (thankfully given the price!), so I am not disappointed with the goods, but despite that, I do not recommend this site at all! No address, no phone number, no name, impossible to send an email, nothing at all.

It's just not normal to wait this long to receive an order. I am still desperately waiting to be delivered because I placed my order on November 3rd and to this day, nothing. Have you checked the tracking on their courier link (EMS)? It's a Chinese site, I believe? The last update I have is from November 19th and it indicates that there was a delivery failure in English without any explanation...
I will continue to wait, but if I still do not receive my order, I will consider it theft on their part because they have already deducted the amount but made no delivery. To be continued... - Thank you for your message, and I'm glad you received your order.
In that case, I will still keep hope even though I'm starting to despair since the order is over a month old...
But I tell myself that I might eventually receive it. If you placed your order on October 25 and received it on December 5, then I figure I might have the same luck as you... or not.
In the meantime, the order amount has already been deducted, but I haven't received any merchandise, which is just not normal. This site should be pursued because unfortunately, other people will fall into the trap...

I intend to buy sneakers on this site.. Hmm.. This Monmoderoom is an anonymous (Unidentified..) 'off-shore' type site. This means that in case of a problem (No delivery, wrong model, wrong size, etc..) there will be no possible recourse other than amicable.. Russian roulette.. Common sense would suggest avoiding these kinds of sites that generate troubles.. But everyone does what they want, free to get scammed with no hope of getting their money back...

PS: Just because some 'dummy' claims he received wonderful shoes better than the real ones doesn't mean you will be satisfied.. -
Good evening I.B, I am replying to you late; I did indeed receive the shoes, they seem to be of very good quality (thankfully given the price), but I only received them after a month and a half and an additional €10 was debited from my account. It's up to you to decide now, but personally I know I will never order from this site again, despite the good deals...

Sometimes the post takes longer than expected, but...
You can always dispute the transaction with your bank (I believe we have a month)
Especially if the rate is not the one you ordered.

I had the same problem as you.
I ordered shoes from monmoderoom (a site I didn't know) 5 days ago, and my account was charged 64 E instead of the 55 E advertised on the site by a Chinese company (middiantecc) that doesn't seem very reputable based on my research.
Furthermore, while searching on société.com or infogreffe, monmoderoom doesn't exist!
I think I will call my bank tomorrow!
Let me know if you receive your package.... mine is supposedly being handled by DHL....

Well girls, I advise you to create a PayPal account;
Most selling sites accept PayPal
You don't need to put money in this account, you just need to enter your credit card number, but you only do it once and on one site (PayPal), instead of "distributing" your credit card among all those shady sites.
I had a dispute a while ago; I bought a keyboard for my laptop (€20), well, the guy sent me a copy of the shipping receipt from Chronopost (with nonexistent tracking, of course) and an invoice from the post office. I had never seen that and found it suspicious but whatever...
After about 3 weeks, still nothing. After talking to the seller, who kept saying, "I'll check with the post office," I opened a dispute with PayPal. I don't care about the €20, it's about principle...
They connected us on their site with someone from PayPal. The guy insisted on his version; anyway, I kind of let it go, and after 2 or 3 days, surprise, the €20 appeared in my bank account.
With them, you can't say the company has vanished into thin air because PayPal has all the banking information of everyone, you see? -

Furthermore, there is no legal information on the site, and it doesn't take long to find out that the domain name is registered with a fake address and name... It's clearly a scam, maybe the credit card insurance can help? -

I sent an email to find out why the amount charged was higher than expected, and I received an email this morning in English: Dear Customer,
Would you please send me a copy of the bank statement which indicates this different charge and we could investigate it.

Don't panic, I just received my order after a month!
My sandals are as described. I don't know why they were sent from China... and they don't seem to be fakes...
The additional fees, around 10 euros, I think are for customs, because on the package, it says 10 dollars...
The site even sent me a message in English asking me to write a little review for them...
Keep hope, I had already given up on this. Who would have thought!-

I placed an order on this same site since November 3rd for an item priced at €85, which I still haven't received to this day! I'm seriously starting to worry, and usually, I am very careful about the websites I order from. This one seemed reliable, but I think they ultimately don't seem trustworthy or serious... This will be the first and last time I get caught like this!
But when I read your messages, it reassures me because you eventually received your orders, albeit late, but you seem to be happy in the end, and that's great. I'm going to keep my hopes up and hope to be delivered very soon.
I sent them a final email to find out the status of my order, but they aren’t responding of course, and I informed them that if I still don’t have my order, I will file a complaint, especially since they have already charged (an amount higher than the product's base price). The link they provided to track the order comes from the EMS carrier, and I think it is coming from China.
In the last update of the tracking on 11/19/16, they state in English "Your item was not delivered successfully (FRENCH REPUBLIC FR921780) at 2016-11-19 09:43:00
Reasons for unsuccessful delivery: 16"
That doesn’t reassure me much... but I will keep hoping and especially hope that I haven't been scammed. -

Good evening, if I were you, I wouldn't order from this site. I ordered sneakers for my daughter's Christmas at the beginning of December and I haven't received anything except an email saying they were shipped and another for the deduction of 85 euros, whereas they deducted 92.78. I've tried to contact them by email but it's impossible; they don't respond. It's a big scam and I don't think I'm going to receive them; apparently, it's coming from China.

I agree with you. It's a beautiful scam. On my side, I placed an order at the beginning of November which I have still not received. Some people received their orders more than a month after they were placed (which is just not normal!) so maybe a miracle day…
We need to file a complaint against this kind of dishonest site and be vigilant for next time. In any case, my advice is: do not order from this site!

Good evening! I did the same thing as you... but after a month and a half of waiting and after all hope was lost, I received my sneakers! I think the package got held up in customs (which also explains the higher amount debited, it’s the customs fees)... so even if it takes a while, don’t lose hope!! Have a good evening!
