Hello everyone, I’ll explain my problem. I accidentally confirmed the receipt of my order even though I haven't received it yet. What should I do?

Personally, I accidentally confirmed receipt one month before the delivery date, and in the end, I indeed received my package on the estimated date.
So I don't think there's really any reason to worry about that.

When you click on "confirm receipt," the package continues its journey to arrive at your home. When you click on "confirm receipt" of the package, the money you paid to the seller is released to them; otherwise, it does not change the route of your package or anything else.

Alright, I wasn't aware of this section (having never ordered from Ali...).

Do you not have the option to write to them to tell them that you haven't received your order yet, and that you made a mistake by confirming the receipt of the order?

Hovering my mouse over the top right corner of my profile, a list appears with several tabs (favorites, messaging, etc.), I click on the "My Orders" tab and then I see my order with the information and a small clickable tab "Confirm Receipt of Order" just like in this image I found online:

I contacted the seller for now; I would like to contact AliExpress directly. I will wait to see if the seller responds or not. I just found out that we lose buyer protection by doing what I just did. It's still a purchase of 172 euros...
