Hello,
Since yesterday, my desktop computer displays a black screen on my TV. After several attempts, I can get my computer to show up on my TV again, but by using the HDMI port directly on the motherboard, not on the graphics card.
So, I conclude that my graphics card has a problem, but the question is: is it trash now, or can I still try to get something out of it?
My computer functions perfectly except that I can no longer play games due to insufficient graphical quality. I've had the PC for 3 years now and I've never had any issues with it.. and I really don't understand why my GPU would be dead unless it's due to the high temperatures (I’m not sure if that can cause this)
So, if anyone has any ideas to help me! Thanks in advance.

Hello,
To start, I'm going to ask you if you've ever done maintenance on your graphics card. If maintenance is overlooked, it can lead to performance drops... Regarding the fact that your HDMI port is no longer working, I don't see how dust could cause that; either your card is damaged, or it needs to be updated...
Try looking for updates first, check the dust, and keep us posted :)

But I think the graphics card is dead because it’s not even recognized by Windows in the device manager...
As for the updates, how should I go about it?
Thanks for your help, anyway!
Thanks :)
See you later
PS: Also check that the power cable of your graphics card is not damaged... I almost threw away a GTX 750 TI because the cable was defective and no longer powered the GPU... So be sure to take a look ;)
See you later
