HDMI port on my TV not working anymore

Hello,

Lately, when I plug my Bbox box into my television via HDMI, I no longer have any image or sound. However, when I connect my Xbox 360, I only have the image. I'm using two different HDMI cables and I've tried swapping them, but it gives the same result. Since I only have one HDMI port on my TV, I often have to change the cable (Bbox or Xbox). I'm wondering if the problem is coming from the HDMI PORT on my television, and that by switching the cables so often, I may have damaged the HDMI port...
What should I do, knowing that my TV is no longer under warranty (it would be too easy otherwise)? If I need to take it to a repair shop, does anyone know how much it would cost to replace the HDMI port on my television?

Thank you very much!

Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 534.55.3

If you want to connect multiple devices and you don't have enough HDMI inputs, you need to use a switch, which avoids having to disconnect cables.
You have this model with 3 inputs and 1 output: http://www.rueducommerce.fr/Accessoires-Consommables/Cable-et-Connectique/Adaptateur-et-Selecteur-HDMI/RUEDUCOMMERCE/2861072-Commutateur-HDMI-automatique-avec-telecommande-3-entrees-1-sortie-noir-laque-finition-alu.htm or 5 inputs and 1 output: http://www.rueducommerce.fr/Accessoires-Consommables/Cable-et-Connectique/Adaptateur-et-Selecteur-HDMI/RUEDUCOMMERCE/2963349-Commutateur-HDMI-automatique-avec-telecommande-5-entrees-1-sortie-noir-laque-finition-alu.htm this is given as an example.

I also have the same problem. I'm an electrician, and I have a multimeter, but I don't know how to test the HDMI output of my Panasonic TX-L42U2E LCD TV.

On your TV, there are 2 HDMI inputs; have you switched to the right one?
