Hello everyone, and thank you in advance to those who will take the time to read my problem. A few months ago, I got a LD215-905FHW television from a friend, but without a remote control! No problem, as I was able to tune the DTT channels using the buttons on top of the television. However, since this afternoon, suddenly there is no signal. I waited, but nothing came back. I unplugged everything to let the TV cool down, plugged it back in, and did 2/3 channel searches to arrive at the same result: empty DTT database. So, I restored factory settings and tried searching again, but nothing works. There is a software update section, but of course, it can't find any software. So, I searched for solutions online, but they have been unsuccessful. Is this irreparable? Do I absolutely need a remote control? How can I update the software? Does anyone know a solution to this problem, please?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 47.0

    Hello
This can happen after a storm or a power surge
either on the coaxial cable or on the antenna amplifier
you need to reset the TNT
your TV has a built-in TNT decoder (mpeg 4),
so you need to check both the coaxial cable AND the amplifier
(it might have taken a hit)

What type of antenna do you have?

If this message appears, it means the search did not find a strong enough signal for reception, so it does not save anything.

If it's a small antenna or an indoor antenna, be careful
generally, TNT transmitters are not configured for a minimal antenna, but with a "râteau" on the roof in most cases, unless you're close to a powerful transmitter.
Also check the antenna amplifier, digital TNT requires much more power than analog
if the amplifier is damaged or too old, same issue, not enough power for the captured signal
check the connection to the TV
change the electrical outlet even if the current one seems to work
check the TV source and redo a search
for the remote control, I found one for 20 euros, but there are other sites to look at
http://www.telecommande-express.com/tv/telecommande+SUPERIOR+:+RC+2-1/453645 but is it worth it if nothing comes back!

Good evening Nadellen and thank you very much for your quick response! I live in a building, so it’s a collective antenna. I was connecting my antenna cable directly from the TV to the wall; I’m not using a coaxial, by the way, what is it for? And where is the antenna amplifier? What is the TV source? I really feel clueless!! Thanks for the remote control, but I will check because as you said, if nothing comes back...
