Hello,

"The transparency flattening space does not match the color space indicated in the Adobe PDF export settings. To avoid any color appearance changes in the PDF file, click Cancel and change the transparency flattening space of the document or the destination color space.
Or click OK to continue with the current settings."

What does this message mean please and how do I proceed to ensure that the transparency flattening space matches the color space? How do I change the transparency flattening space of the document and the destination color space?

    Exporting to PDF in PDF/X-1 & PDF/X-3 generates a level 1.3 file
    while the PDF/X4 standard generates a level 1.6 file

    The level defines how transparencies will be converted and thus the pixelation. During pixelation, it is possible for different objects to be in different color spaces.

    Check with the "Assembly" tool if your document does not contain inconsistencies in color modes (RGB, indexed colors, etc.)

      I am sure that all the images are in CMYK
      the object may not be an image?

      Absolutely..
      This kind of message depends on the settings in Acrobat's "Distiller" (which is the PDF conversion engine) for color management.
      PDF/X standards impose color conversions that are sometimes incompatible with those used in the document.

      Hello,

      I've been having the same problem for a month, but I still can't solve it (even though I've been to quite a few different sites).
      My images are of good quality to begin with, and even when I import them into my InDesign document.
      However, when I save in low resolution (minimal file size), all my images become blurry.

      What should I do?

      If you choose this recording mode (minimal file size), it is normal that it comes at the expense of image quality...

      You can always reach a compromise between file size and resampling depending on the destination of the PDF file. To do this, create a custom export profile for yourself.
