Hello,
I have a question (possibly twisted but here goes): is it possible to access the BIOS through the command prompt in order to install a new Windows via a bootable USB stick knowing that:
1- I can no longer access my home desktop due to a configuration issue with an update. I can only access the command prompt in safe mode.
2- I was unable to repair my Windows using the Microsoft tool and I cannot perform a system restore. (I know, it sucks!)
3- I prepared a bootable USB stick using the Microsoft Store tool and when I press F2 at startup, I get a black screen that looks nothing like the usual BIOS interface (no boot button or any other buttons for that matter!) and the only option is to boot into Windows!
Is there any hope :D ???
Thanks in advance for your answers
Configuration: Windows XP / Chrome 49.0.2623.112

With the command prompt, you might want to check what's in the RegBack folder and restore the files: default, sam, software, system, security
