Hello,
I meticulously followed the procedure:
1- press the "resume/cancel" button
2- while holding it, press "Power"
3- still holding the latter, release "resume/cancel"
4- press "resume/cancel" twice in quick succession
5- release the "Power" button. There is no green LED that lights up, but a small yellow-orange warning light in the shape of a triangular signal that keeps flashing non-stop, never stopping
6- from there, the manipulations no longer work as expected...

I tried in both cases, with the printer connected to the computer or not, but nothing works.
Thank you for your help, but I think there must be a very specific procedure for this Canon MG6450 model.

It is apparently just a disguised problem of planned obsolescence. No retailer (Boulanger, Darty...) or repairman encourages the repair which would involve changing the ink absorber (€70) or dismantling and cleaning (2 hours of work). What surprises me, however, is that we cannot find the procedure to reset the counter, noting that it is not the same on this model as it is on other models in the Pixma MG series.
As a matter of principle, I contacted the maintenance center in Courbevoie, which had nothing better to offer me...

The model of your printer is not listed.
But you need to be careful because the printer is not waterproof and the ink from the absorber can leak out of the printer.
Note:
The ink pad also physically exists in the printer under the print head, and there is a high probability that this pad is saturated with ink. Also, since the printer is not waterproof, we advise you not to place it on a piece of furniture that could be damaged by ink leaking under the printer.
See this.

Hello.
Try.
To reset the estimated ink waste level, the following procedure must be applied.

With the printer turned off, press the "resume/cancel" button and, without releasing it, press the "power" button and do not release it.
Still holding the "power" button, release the "resume/cancel" button and then press the "resume/cancel" button twice in a row.
Release the "power" button. The green LED flashes and then stays on (the printer is now in "service" mode; more information in the appendix).
Press the "resume/cancel" button four times and then press the "power" button once. When the blinking stops, the ink waste counter is reset to zero.
Press the "power" button once to exit "service" mode.
Press the "power" button once more to turn off the printer.

This time, it's done; at the next startup, the printer will be operational again. It will likely be necessary to redo the usual operations of head alignment and nozzle cleaning to correct the effects of the disassembly/reassembly process.

5B00/5B01 - The orange lights are constantly blinking.
Try this, otherwise I'm out of options.
Description:

A service error has occurred.

Resolution:

Turn off the printer.
Unplug the power cord.
Open the printer cover.
If applicable, remove any orange protective tape and any white styrofoam.
If applicable, remove any foreign objects (like a paperclip) that may be inside the printer.
Close the cover.
Plug the cord back in and turn the device on.

If the above solution did not resolve the issue, contact the authorized Canon service center.

The download not working, could I have the download link for the utility in question ST V3400, although my printer is not listed among the affected ones.
Thank you.
