Hello,

My printer (a Canon mp240) displays the message "ink absorber full". I see that there are solutions for other printer models, but I can't find anything for the mp240... If anyone has techniques to extend the life of my printer a bit... ?

Thanks in advance!!!

    Hello Aminte,

I recommend cleaning the ink absorbers, as mentioned in
the message #8 from Herbie; only then, if needed, reset the ink counters:

    1) Turn off the printer.
    2) Press the "resume" button (Triangle in a red circle), and
without releasing, press the "power" button.
    3) Release the "resume" button.
    4) Without releasing the "power" button, press "resume" twice and
        release both buttons.
    5) Press "resume" four times. Press "power" to confirm.
    6) Press "power" again to restart the printer.

If your problem is resolved, please go to the top of the page
to click on "Mark as resolved."

    Best regards. :)

I did this manipulation on my MG2950 and it works. Great, thank you very much. Will the absorber no longer be full this way?
