Canon MP160 printer: ink absorber

Hello,
I can no longer use my Canon Pixma MP160 printer because I have an error message "ink absorber full."
What should I do besides taking the device to customer service?

    You need to reset the used ink counter to 0; the procedure:

      Thank you very much, it was a bit laborious but great, it’s working again... you especially need to wait for the green button to be steady before pressing the red button 4 times.
