Scroll in InDesign

Solved

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and need some help... I'm doing an internship in communication and I would like to know if it's possible to scroll within a window.

I suggested to my supervisor to create a "fake application" for a presentation that's coming up soon. The problem is that I can't create a window on my InDesign page that I can move around in. I'm not sure if that's very clear, but to keep it simple, I want to have a banner at the top, a banner at the bottom, and be able to "navigate" in the space in between.. and for it to work when exported as a PDF!

I'm not sure if that's very clear!

P.S.: I'm using InDesign CS6

Thanks in advance for your responses..
Best regards

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your feedback, but when exporting to PDF, the function skips. It works perfectly in Content Viewer, but once in Adobe Reader on iPad, the scroll doesn't work anymore.

Did I forget to check a box during export, or do I need to put the document in a different format? Thanks in advance!

Have you saved it as an interactive PDF?
But I believe that even with that, most of the interactivity from DPS doesn't work on PDF.
        No other ideas, sorry...

Yes, in interactive PDF, all my buttons work correctly except for this one.. I tried scrolling with two fingers, tapping on the window to bring up the scroll bar, etc., but nothing works...

Do you have an idea of the format in which I should export the document for it to work? (I installed Adobe Content Viewer on the iPad) even with another application available on iOS?

Otherwise, as a fallback solution, I will put a slideshow in the middle of my window..

No idea. I thought of the SWF format, but there's no guarantee.

Oh, I hadn't thought of that! I'll give it a try!

Edit: not any better :/ I'll go with a slideshow in a central position, too bad.. Thank you very much!
